Cut the cabbage into pieces. Remove the tough outer leaves and vein. Peel and cut the potatoes into medium-sized chunks.
Fill the steaming baskets with the vegetables and start a 25-minute cooking cycle. After about 20 minutes of cooking, the sound alarm will tell you that all the water has evaporated. Fill the tank again to continue cooking.
During the cooking cycle, cut the ham into small pieces.
Combine all the ingredients in the mixing bowl and blend. If the mixture sticks, add a little cooking water to soften the purée.
Fill small jars and put 4 in the freezer to use at a later date.
