Place the potatoes with the skin in the steamer and cook for about 25 minutes (until tender).
Remove the skin of the potatoes and in a salad bowl, mash and mix the potatoes with the flour, the beaten egg and a pinch of salt. First use a fork or a spoon and at the end with your floured hands to prevent the dough from sticking.
Once the ingredients are well mixed, roll out the dough on a floured surface into a sausage shape about 1.5 centimetres in diameter.
Cut pieces 2 cm long and mark them with the back of a fork to leave a ridged pattern. Align the gnocchi as you make them on a clean tea towel to prevent them from sticking together.
Put them in the steamer next to each other and cook for 2 minutes. It’s ready!
In the baby’s bowl, mix and preheat the tomato sauce and cream. Pour the gnocchi.
Yummy!
You can simply offer these gnocchi with some melted butter and sprinkled with grated cheese.
I’ll help mum!
From when your child is 6, he or she can cut the gnocchi, which are very tender, with a table knife.
