Pear and lemon verbena compote

4 small pears
6 fresh lemon verbena leaves
1 tablespoon thick crème fraîche

Recipe

For 2 portions – Preparation time: 5 minutes – Cooking time: 12 minutes

Peel and dice the pears. Put the lemon verbena leaves into the Nutribaby flavour booster or straight into the steaming basket with the pears.

Start a 12-minute cooking cycle.

Blend the pears with the verbena leaves and add the cream. Chill in the refrigerator.

+ idea

It is perfectly OK to use herb infusion bags in compotes. To do that, put the bag (that you have moistened beforehand so the steam permeates it more quickly) into the steaming basket. Remove before blending.

Be daring!

You can use verbena-flavoured cooking water (preferably mineral water) to add flavour to baby’s bottles of milk.
