Porridge for baby

For the recipe
100g / 3,5oz / 0,22fl of apple or pear

10cl / 3,5fl oz of mineral water
10cl / 3,5 fl oz of semi-skimmed cow’s milk
2 dessert spoons of oat flakes
A few drops of maple syrup


Preparation time: 5 minutes – Cooking time: 8 minutes

Peel and finely dice the apple or pear. Put them in the steamer basket and start an 8 minute cooking cycle.

While this is cooking, heat the water and the milk in a small saucepan. Add the oat flakes and bring to the boil. Switch off immediately and cover to allow for the oats to swell.

As soon as the fruit is cooked, put it in the blender bowl with the porridge mixture and the honey (from 1 year of age) or maple syrup.

Pour into baby’s plate and serve!
